From the beginning

Joining a Scuba Diving Club can be a powerful way to make Friends and a difference in the world. By practicing mindfulness underwater, we can improve our wellbeing and become more compassionate towards the environment. With a passionate commitment to protecting our oceans, we can work together to create a more sustainable future for all marine life.

A Dive for Darren

Every January we vow to complete a memorial dive for one of our brothers.

On the 18th January 2022 our good friend and brother left us all behind and so as a mark of respect we brave the cold waters of Capernwray (Darren's favourite inland dive site) in his memory. Just 4 Fun Diving raised just over £150 for Andy's Man Club.

We team up with Darren's former BSAC branch for this one.

Mental health awareness

This year we teamed up with a fellow BSAC branch to help raise awareness of men's mental health and wellbeing.

The local authority (Wigan Metropolitan Borough) donated pool time for free.

Northern Diver supported us with free air fills and T-Shirts.

Mid-Lancs BSAC supplied pool kit and a few of their kind volunteers.

Underwater therapy

Is some of the best therapy that an individual can ever experience. leave your worries on the surface and dive into a new lifestyle, get new friends, visit new places, see new sights and enjoy your new family.
